Istanbul - Yalova & Thermal Tour
Overview
Full-day Yalova escape: Çınarcık coast, Termal hot springs, Dipsiz Lake and Atatürk's Walking Mansion.
The Yalova & Thermal Tour is the ideal one-day escape to Istanbul's closest natural hot-spring resorts and the southern Marmara coast. After an early morning hotel pickup, we cross to Yalova by ferry and begin with a sea-view tea or coffee stop at Çınarcık.
Next we drive up to the Termal district, famous for centuries-old sulphur springs and the Atatürk Baths (entrance not included), where Atatürk himself bathed. A peaceful walk through the historic park leads to the Walking Mansion (Yürüyen Köşk) — the timber house that was famously moved 4.8 metres on rails to spare a single plane tree.
Lunch is at one of Termal's local restaurants featuring seasonal cuisine. In the afternoon we set out for Dipsiz Göl (Bottomless Lake), with quiet hiking paths, endemic flora and panoramic views that make it a photographer's favourite. An optional short trek towards Erikli Plateau can be added on request.
We return to Istanbul by ferry in the evening. The private vehicle and driver are yours all day; child seats are available on request for families.
